Financial Policies

Our clinic makes every attempt to make alternative health care, in the form of acupuncture available to as many people as possible, at the most affordable rates. To keep our costs low, and to retain our ability to serve a wide population, we have the following policies:

• Payment is due before (booked online) or at the time of treatment.
• We accept cash, MC, VISA, Discover and American Express.
• We do not accept health insurance or Workman’s Comp.
• Individual receipts can be provided upon request, and will be emailed to you.  You always have the option to request them at the time of payment.
• Pay online or please bring your payment of choice to your first appointment.  Remember that only the first appointment is more ($50 plus $15).

Receipts

We cannot give you a hard copy receipt; or a receipt for free treatments,  or appointments that were paid for by someone else (such as by gift certificate).

Our payment processor allows us the option to email or text you a receipt at no additional charge.  Please ask us for these at the time of payment!  We highly recommend that you request the option at the time of payment that allows an electronic receipt to be texted to you or emailed to you.

Missed Appointments

All appointments that are rescheduled or canceled with less than 24-hours advanced notice will be charged $20 for that appointment, payable before your next treatment.

Please be advised that if you do not show up, or are more than 10 minutes late,  you will be charged $40, if you’re on a package 1 treatment credit will be taken.

We do understand that you wouldn’t cancel if you didn’t have a good reason (and even sometimes just forgetting your appointment is the reason).  Please understand that if we are holding a spot for you, other people cannot book that time.  Since our clinic relies on volume, we need to keep a full schedule to keep our fees in the affordable range.

If your situation is too crazy to commit to scheduling 24 hours beforehand, you can book online up to one hour prior to the time you want, if there are slots available.  Please note that you can easily reschedule online anytime until 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Health Insurance

Our clinic is not eligible to be enrolled as a provider with insurance plans.  At the time of writing, most of the common insurance options in our state do not cover very much acupuncture.  Check with your insurer for more information.
